Rookie RB Shona Greene opened the way on the ground, rushing for 144 yards and two touchdowns after Leon Washington came out with a broken leg. Thomas Jones also ran for 121 yards and a touchdown in the victory. Mark Sanchez is back on track, completing the 9-15 passes for 143 yards and one touchdown with no interceptions.
Bears defeat Bengals 45-10 - In what was a statement game Cincinnati, the Bengals took the lead 31-3 in the half. Carson Palmer has been flawless, completing 20 of his 24 passes for 233 yards and a 5 in career assists touchdown. Chad Ochocinco took 10 balls for 118 yards and two touchdowns. Jay Cutler threw three interceptions for Chicago, did not help their cause.
Cowboys defeat Falcons 37-21 – After falling behind 0-7, everything was in Dallas the rest of the way they scored 17 unanswered points in the second quarter. Tony Romo threw for 311 yards and 3 touchdowns, and WR Miles Austin had his second consecutive game with 6 catches for big yards and 171 two touchdowns. Austin now 421 yards and 4 touchdowns in the Cowboys' last two games alone.
Saints defeat Dolphins 46-34 – It is difficult to believe that New Orleans was down 3-24 in the first half at a time. But they got a touchdown on the last play of the first half on a QB sneak by Drew Brees to make it 10-24 to give them some momentum heading into the break. The Saints outclassed the Dolphins 22-0 in the fourth quarter, and Drew Brees finished with 298 yards the password, 1 touchdown and 3 interceptions. But Brees rushed for two touchdowns to help New Orleans remain undefeated on the season. Ricky Williams Miami rushed to 3 touchdowns in the loss.
Cardinals defeat Giants 24-17 - The Cardinals defense made the difference. Arizona forced Eli Manning into three interceptions and a forced fumble by Ahmad Bradshaw key late. The Cardinals outclassed the Giants 14-3 in the second half.
Redskins defeat Eagles 27-17 - DeSean Jackson rushed for a yard touchdown on an end 67 in less than 2 minutes into the game. He also caught a touchdown pass of 57 yards from Donovan McNabb late in the third quarter to put the Eagles up 27-7, and basically put the game out of reach. Washington makes Philly outgained 308-262 and had 21 first tests to their 11, but three escaped and lost an interception gave the Redskins no chance of winning. LB Witherspoon made a great impact after being traded by the Rams earlier this week, returning an interception for a touchdown Jason Campbell to put Ahead Eagles 14-0 in the first quarter.
